Sunday Service
When: 10 AM Where: Hermitage Park Community Centre: Cranford Road, Maidstone, Kent ME16 9FZ

What to expect
Typically the meeting will start with an opening thought, to focus our thoughts. This is then followed by a time of worship in song that lasts perhaps half an hour.
Children are an intrinsic part of the church, and following worship in song they are invited to the front to be involved in a Bible teaching section (described below), then Sunday School is provided for the children while adults remain for the sermon.
We typically teach on a verse-by-verse basis through a book of the Bible, although individual topical studies are given from time to time.
Following the meeting we remain for refreshments and fellowship.

In all aspects of church life we seek to be led by the Holy Spirit. Opportunity is given for people to pray openly, to bring a song or chorus or speak as the Holy Spirit leads. This is overseen by the leadership, and sensitivity to the meeting is requested.
The objective of the meeting is that the Lord is glorified, His people are fed, built up and loved.

Children's Ministry
When: 10 AM | Where: Hermitage Park Community Centre: Cranford Road, Maidstone, Kent ME16 9FZ

The first and most important missionary field in our church is the children. It is of the utmost importance that Bible truth is sown into the hearts and minds of the children in the church.
For this reason we have a dedicated section of the main service where ministry is tailored towards the younger member of the congregation, in which the children are invited to come to the front and are taught as part of the service.

During the service we are working through the Bible overview series 'The Biggest Story' and the children are involved with questions and answers on the video presentation shown.
Following this, the children continue to be taught by a dedicated and fully DBS checked team of Sunday School teachers in a separate room, while the core teaching to the adults continues in the main meeting.
The Sunday School typically incorporates games, craft activities and teaching that complements and solidifies what has been taught in the main meeting.

We encourage parents to play their part in raising their children to know and love the Lord Jesus and to study the Bible.

Accommodating infants
We understand how new borns and very young ones find church a difficult thing to sit through, and that parents can feel self-conscious about their children and any disruption they may bring.
For this reason we provide a creche, with toys and freedom to move so that if the young ones need a break they have a place they can go. Again, this is manned by a dedicated team of people who are fully DBS checked.
