1 Corinthians 15:57 declares:

“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

But while that may be the believers position in Christ, the simple truth is that in reality the believer can feel anything but victorious…in fact they can feel defeated.

Sometimes that defeat is due to sin.

Sometimes that defeat is due to believing the lies of the enemy.

But what of the times when circumstance and situation overtake you and things out of your control send you to a place of defeat?

What is the believer to do then?

Come on a journey to see that you are not the only one to feel defeat, there is someone in Scripture who had that very experience.

It’s good to know you’re not alone…but what do you do when you are in that place?

There is an anchor, there is direction, there is comfort and a hope you can trust in…
